Leon's Triathlon

Founded in 1983, Leon's Triathlon in Hobart, Ind., is dedicated to producing high-quality events honoring and supporting active duty military, veterans, first responders and law enforcement officers, with a special emphasis on injured veterans.

Leon's is part of the 2022 Paratriathlon Development Race Series, a set of races for emerging paratriathletes who aspire to compete at a future Paralympic Games. Partnered with Dare2Tri, the goal is to empower injured service members and veterans through active participation in sport, recreation, competition, and the greater community.

Grant funding will support financial assistance for the CBS Sports Chicago Network National Broadcast for the event.
