JUST TRYAN IT

JUST TRYAN IT of Bethesda, Md., provides financial assistance to families with a child in treatment for pediatric cancer. By promoting philanthropy, empathy and wellness, JTI inspires families to make a difference in their communities.

The organization hosts a series of non-competitive triathlons that encourage children ages 6-14 to challenge themselves physically and mentally in solidarity with a child fighting cancer. Through peer to peer fundraising our racers raise money for the JTI Family Assistance Fund. The money they raise goes to support children being treated at a hospital in their local community.  

Many JUST TRYAN IT racers are competing in their first triathlon. The organization strives to give them a safe and positive experience that will ignite their interest in the sport and their commitment to helping their community.

Grant funding will promote registration and offset timing company costs for youth triathlons.
