Filipino American Triathlon Club

Filipino American Triathlon Club of Milburn, N.J., is a non-denominational club accepting all friends and families of Filipino Americans. Its mission is to grow a network of Filipino triathletes worldwide building a sense of community and fellowship through the medium of endurance sports.

Fil-Am Tri is celebrating its 16th anniversary and is focusing on getting more women and juniors involved with the sport.

2022 Pillar Grant funding will allow the club to:

• Provide equipment, entry fees and uniforms for newcomers.
• Hire coaches to put on regular camps and clinics, with a focus on proper technique and injury prevention.
• Overhaul its website.
• Create team tents and banners for major races.
• Develop a conduit for juniors to race at national and world championships.
