CMAK Sandy Hook Memorial Foundation
USA Triathlon and the USA Triathlon Foundation today announced a formal partnership with the CMAK (Chase Michael-Anthony Kowalski) Sandy Hook Memorial Foundation, founded in remembrance of Chase Kowalski.
The CMAK Sandy Hook Memorial Foundation of Sandy Hook, Conn., turns tragedy into triumph by healing and strengthening its families and communities. It was founded in memory of Chase Kowalski, the students and educators of the Sandy Hook tragedy.
The program supports youth development in the sport of triathlon and is offered free of charge to its participants. Through this program, kids aged 5 to 12 can participate in a healthy, non-competitive environment.
Race4Chase brings together kids from all different backgrounds and educates them how to adopt a healthy lifestyle, coaches them to develop a foundation of athletic skills, and inspires them to aim high in sports and in life.
Grant funding will support Race4Chase FINALE events.
