Years Involved in Multisport: 9+ years

Why are you involved with USA Triathlon Foundation: Being involved with USA Triathlon and the USA Triathlon Foundation is a dream come true for me. The dream started after the 2012 London Games when I started to study how all of our Team USA athletes from across all of their NGBs train and make their national teams. Learning that not one single sport or athlete receives funding outside of corporate or philanthropic support I determined that I wanted to join a NGB and support our athletes and their dreams. In 2015, I competed in my first Sprint Triathlon, and I was hooked. From the community, the races, the newbies, or the seasoned Triathletes I found a special community of Americans from coast-to-coast, and I am honored to make an impact at USA Triathlon.

Athletic Background: From growing up in Bandera, Texas I was able to play multiple sports growing up from Football, Soccer, Track and Field, and Tennis. I still play Tennis often and have started playing more Golf. I have raced in 15+ triathlons from Sprint distance to multiple 140.6 distance races.
