Lindsay Welker

Resides: Colorado Springs, Colorado 

Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management, Master of Arts in Sport and Recreation Management - both from The University of Iowa

Career: Lindsay Welker has been with USA Triathlon since June 2021 and has served as development and program coordinator of the USA Triathlon Foundation since June 2022. 

She was previously USA Triathlon's Sports Programs coordinator, where she managed the age group Team USA program comprised of 1,500 athletes competeing across multiple World Championships. She also managed the day-to-day logistics of women's collegiate triathlon, an emerging collegiate sport on track to become an official NCAA varsity sport.

Why are you involved with the USA Triathlon Foundation: To make an impact in the mulisport community and athletes' lives. Sport has been a part of my life forever, and now I have the opportunity to give back and help those get a chance at sport that may not otherwise be able to. 

Athletic Background: Lindsay ran track and field at the Univeristy of Iowa. Her specialty was middle distance (800m). Go Hawks!
