Career: Floyd (Gregg) Goolsby is a Seattle Area Business Executive with over 36 years of corporate experience working in Senior Management for several automotive manufactures. He has also taken the opportunity to share his knowledge with others as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing, teaching at the graduate school of business at Fordham University and Seattle University. He now teaches photography, which has been a life-long passion. He currently owns and manages Goolsby Industrial Properties, LLC along with several other real estate investment enterprises. He and his daughter own and manage OSP Images, LLC which is an online photography business which donates all profits to conservation causes. Triathlon has been a huge part of his life for 40 years and he has completed over 130 races, including many Ironman events. He has qualified for, and competed on the world championship stage, racing for Team USA as well as Ironman 70.3 World Championships. He has also been recognized as a USAT All-American and Ironman All World Athlete. “After all of the meaningful experiences that have come to me through Triathlon, I enjoy giving back to this great sport of ours so future generations can benefit as I have. Why are you involved with the USA Triathlon Foundation: After all of the meaningful experiences that have come to me through Triathlon, I want to give back to this great sport of ours so future generations can benefit as I have.
Athletic Background: Avid lifetime endurance athlete starting out as a competitive swimmer. I got into biking and running after college and then into Triathlon back in 1983. Over 36 years of experience in Triathlon, racing everything from sprints all the way up to Ironman. Recognized as a USAT All American, Ironman All World Athlete, and member of Team USA (finished sixth in AG on team at Worlds in Lausanne 2019). Competed at Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2019 as well. Additionally, a competitor in open water swimming marathons up to 15 miles, as well as various running events. 3 time Boston Marathon Finisher.
