Exceeding Expectations

Exceeding Expectations serves inner-city kids in San Bernardino, Calif. The program encourages at-risk kids to move their lives in a positive direction in school and beyond, using the sport of triathlon as the vehicle.

For the youth EE serves, setting goals, making future plans and even maintaining a healthy diet are difficult to consider when getting through the day is all that matters. Using triathlon, EE strives to give kids and their families opportunities to participate in a world very different from their own.

The program teaches kids that anything is possible, if they’re willing to set goals and work hard. 2022 Pillar Grant funding will support EE’s mission.
