Career: Molly Danner, who joined USA Triathlon in August 2022, serves as Major Gifts Officer for the USA Triathlon Foundation.
Prior to joining USAT, Molly spent more than a decade at the headquarters of the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. in donor and brand stewardship, program and talent management, and tourism and hospitality. Her work focused on engaging members and donors in experiential programs that highlighted and provided funding for mission-related causes—from adventure and conservation-themed expeditions to cultural trips and photography workshops on all seven continents. Molly also led strategic engagement for a community of 250+ National Geographic explorers, journalists, and photographers to amplify grant-funded projects.
Other prior experience includes management of youth leadership and experiential education, athletic program development, and integrated marketing strategy.

Why are you involved with the USA Triathlon Foundation: I deeply value the power of sport to drive excellence, personal development, and global connection. After spending the majority of my career in the nonprofit, education, and travel sectors, the opportunity to elevate multisport and be part of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement has fueled my passion to pivot.
Athletic Background: Molly was a collegiate soccer player and the former assistant women's soccer coach for her alma mater, Kalamazoo College. She enjoys a range of sports and spending time in the outdoors.
