Career: I have been in marketing and sales in the consumer packaged goods business for over 40-years.   I worked for food manufacturers, Standard Brands and Nestle (Libby’s), managed a specialty food importer, owned a snack food business and was involved in mergers and acquisitions.   For the last 27-years I have owned my own outsourced marketing and sales company, The Lansing Group which works with grocery and housewares manufacturers selling overstock and problem products.

Years Involved in Multisport:   I participated in my first triathlon in 1983 and have raced in over 200 events since that time.

Describe Your Role with USA Triathlon Foundation : Legacy Member of the Board of Trustees

What drove you to the multisport lifestyle and the USA Triathlon Foundation ? I wanted to give back to the sport that provided me so many positive benefits.

Athletic Background:   I always played sports and started competing in triathlon in 1983. Through my participation in triathlon, I have been able to compete in:

            9 - Ironman races
            3 - Ironman Hawaii

            2 - Zofingen World Duathlon Championships

            3 - times as member US World Aquathon Age Group Team
