David Lang

David Lang is managing partner of DAL Consulting Group, which provides strategic guidance, pivotal introductions, and access to capital for mission inspired companies and visionary nonprofit organizations. Lang also provides Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) counsel and major gift fundraising support resulting in philanthropic investment of the highest levels.

From 2001-2011, Lang was Executive Director of the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 cultural institutions in San Diego’s historic Balboa Park.   The Partnership supports the work of the institutions’ 500 trustees, 2,500 staff, and 7,000 volunteers in service to six million annual visitors.

Prior to joining the Partnership, Lang was Director of Government Affairs and Assistant to the Chairman of the Board for KSA Industries, parent company of a diverse group of businesses (including the NFL’s Tennessee Titans) in Houston, Texas.   Earlier, he was Vice President for Development for the Sigma Chi Fraternity Foundation in Evanston, Illinois.

Lang serves on the YMCA of San Diego County Board of Directors, Corporate Directors Forum Board of Directors, Bastyr University Board of Trustees (Seattle • San Diego), and the Mission Hills Town Council Board of Trustees . He is past president of the San Diego Uptown Rotary Club and a Legacy Member of  USA Triathlon Foundation .   Lang, an Eagle Scout, is an avid triathlete, snow skiing enthusiast, and recreational tennis player.
